Bike Time Again

So last weekend, well not this last weekend, the one before, so last, last weekend we went down to Indy and put another 14 miles on the bikes. I really like the trail down there, really peaceful, not too busy (in most parts) and it's a good ride. The only downside was that we had some little gnats that were all over... You had to ride with your mouth shut and thankfully we had sunglasses on tot keep them out of our eyes. I would have liked to put a few more miles on, but the bugs were a bit too much,

Then those gnats have been all over everywhere. Apparently a kind of soy gnat coming off of the soybean fields. Very off. Crappy rainy weather for most of the week made us stay inside. But Friday night we went to Barnes and Noble had some coffee (or cider for me) and just looked at some books and magazines. It was a great thing to do on a misty cool night. I looked up the recipe to their (starbucks) "cider" and it is really easy to make. It takes the Torani syrup in cinnamon though. I thought it would be easy to find since i knew Gordmans's and Marsh had them, i bought raspberry once, but no one has cinnamon, don't know where i'll find it.

Also, a completely uninteresting story but on one of my deal websites I found coupons for Honey Bunches of Oates with Pecans, $2 off, and it happens that they are on sale at Marsh for $1.99.. Can everyone say free cereal?

  1. Nice bike pictures! Long rides are great. We did 18 miles on our bikes that same weekend. We also passed a cider mill so we took a break from bike riding and had cider and donuts. We will miss the riding when the cold weather comes. Keep enjoying while you can.
